A growing number of reputable organizations and experts have raised alarms about a federal data crisis, one with profound implications for racial equity and civic participation. In response, Black Researchers Collective, a Black women-led organization based in Chicago, convened a series of Civic Data Forums with a goal: to understand how Black community-based groups are equipping themselves to combat this growing “War on Data.” (12:30)
